One record, start to finish
From first draft to indexed article.
Follow a single manuscript through DiscoverJ. Nothing is re-keyed and nothing is lost between steps.
01 · Submit
Authors arrive with a complete record.
A guided wizard gathers metadata, ORCID iDs, affiliations, files and declarations in one pass, and runs technical checks before an editor ever sees it.
02 · Review
Editors decide with the full picture.
Invite reviewers, enforce blinding, and read the manuscript with comments pinned to the exact sentence they are about. Decisions and revisions stay in one thread.
03 · Produce
Production runs on your team's terms.
A task board and XML tooling for your own staff and vendors. The accepted manuscript becomes JATS XML, PDF, HTML and ePub without being re-keyed.
04 · Publish
Published, deposited and discoverable.
Issues and article pages go live with DOIs, indexing feeds and the metadata search engines and scholars rely on, from the same record you started with.
The platform
Seven modules. Use one, or all of them.
Each stands alone and shares a single record with the rest.

Questions
The short answers.
What is DiscoverJ?
DiscoverJ is a scholarly publishing platform that lets societies, presses and institutions run journals end to end: author submission, peer review, production and publishing in a single system with one shared record for every article.
Is DiscoverJ available yet?
No. DiscoverJ is being built in phases and is not yet available. You can join the waitlist to hear first when access opens, and to help shape what is built.
Can I use only part of DiscoverJ?
Yes. Every module works on its own. A journal can adopt only submission, only peer review, only production or only publishing, and move to the full suite later without re-entering data.
Who owns the content and data I put in DiscoverJ?
You do. Your manuscripts, reviews, articles and metadata remain yours, and you can export all of them at any time.
